So last night I got to see my most favorite punk band in the world - The Queers! And I had a blast!! My ears are still ringing and my cheeks hurt from smiling, laughing and singing along to every song! I can never see The Queers enough times! I've loved that band since I was 16 and still have "Love Songs for the Retarded" constantly in my cd player. I'll never miss a show! And thanks to Joe for being so kick ass once again! He always hooks me up and makes me feel so welcome and its great seeing him and catching up! Joe, YOU ROCK!! And ofcourse there's always my favorite part of the night.. when they play "Fuck the World" and it reminds me of when I was 16 and hated everyone in my high school and couldn't wait to get out and hang out with my real friends! That's what its all about baby.. stay true to your heart and fuck the world! We were also treated to a classic Screeching Weasel song "Cindys on Methadone" with the one and only Vapid on guitar! As well as some Ramones to pay tribute to the best punk band in the world! Great show Joe - I came home with a huge smile on my face! :)

I also scored the new Queers CD last night, Munki Brain, and I adore it already! I highly suggest any Queers fan pick it up! My favorite song so far is "I Think She's Starting to Like Me".. a classic punk rock love song if I ever heard one! :) I just posted some photos from the show.. 061707safsamsqueers9.jpg061707safsamsqueers4.jpg

Looks like a killer show.  Damn, it's been too long since I've been to a good concert.  Disturbed was the last show I saw, now that was awsome.

Looks like a great gig - thanks for sharing. Punk never died - it just went a bit underground which I think confused some people !BTW, what does 'poofy' mean in America ? In English, I think it means something else !!
