(I never do these surveys, but i'm bored and this one made me miss home!)

Navite - Raised in Westchester, and lived in NYC from 18 - 22yrs. Now i'm a west coast girl out in Cali. Sometimes I really miss the city!

2. Do you live in fear of another terrorist attack?
No.. living in fear is no way to live. And if you do, that means they got what they wanted.

3. Name your favorite Mayor of all time
Guilliani

4. Okay we know that "Manhattan keeps on makin it, Brooklyn keeps on takin it, Bronx keeps creating it, and Queens keeps on fakin it,"
but what the hell does Staten Island do?
I have no friggen clue.

5. Do panhandlers bug you?
Nah, used to em. Only bug me when they'd cat call at me!

6. How much do you currently have on your Metrocard?
Ya know, I think I have 1 ride left on it from the last time I visited!

7. Name every neighborhood you lived in so far.
Manhattan - Greenwich Village

8. What parades have you been to?
I think I did the Halloween parade once - and once was enough!

9. Have you ever been atop the Empire State Building?
Yep - when I graduated NYU, my friends parents flew in for graduation and I went with them - it was my first time!

10. What is your favorite subway train?
N/R - lived across the street from both and somehow it always managed to get me where I needed to go!

11. Is where you live considered "the hood?"
The punk hood? maybe!

12. In your opinion which borough has the "flyest" chicks?
Not a borough, but Greenwich Village - i'll take me a little punk rock chick anytime!

14. Have you gone to a Knicks, Mets or Yankee game before?
Yankees baby, all the way! Went every season for years since I was little!

15. Have you ever been to Times Square for New Years Eve?
Oh god, one year some friends decided to go there at 11pm and I had no choice but to tag along. We didnt get anywhere near times square and it was aweful. NEVER AGAIN!

16. Have you ever been approached by a street ho?
Nope

17. Do tourists annoy you?
Ofcourse

18. Which of the 5 boroughs is your favorite?
Manhattan

19. Have you ever been bitten by a rat?
Nope.. but had a mouse in my apartment for 2 weeks once that could not be caught! Smart little bugga!

20. Do you fall asleep on the subway?
God no

21. What bridges have you walked across?
None

22. Have you ever tagged your name anywhere?
Nope

23. How often do you go to the Bodega?
Probably went every day! I was so bad.. sometimes did my grocery shopping at Bodego's! I miss being able to walk to my corner to buy a soda or a bag of chips.. gotta drive to a 7-11 out here in Cali. When i moved here, I didnt even know what 7-11 was! I miss my bodega!

24. Name a street that starts with the first letter of your name.
Second ave.

25. Where were you when 911 happened?
Asleep in my apartment on 3rd ave/st. marks street. When I woke up, I turned the TV on and saw the second plane hit. Within a few hours, everyone was walking up 3rd ave and it was quite surreal.. i'll never forget it.

26. Did you know anyone who died during the attacks?
Luckily enough, no.

27. When was the last time you've been to Coney Island?
Wow.. years ago.. when my friend lived in Brooklyn near there, i'd go out and hang with her on the beach.

28. Who was the last celebrity you saw?
In NYC.. hmm, I have no idea. Does Joey Ramone count? He was a celebrity to me!

29. Do you love NYC nightlife?
Whats left of the rock n roll clubs, yes. I worked at the Continental for almost 4 years... now its a friggen sports bar. I miss CIH, Brownies, CBGB's.. it just ain't the same.

30. What was the last airport you used, JFK or LaGuardia?
JFK

31. How often do you take yellow taxis or livery cabs?
I'm totally a cab girl when I don't feel like walking or finding the subway. Just stick out your arm and you have a ride!

32. Have you ever been in a pissy staircase?
I'm sure, lol

33. Are you afraid to walk the streets at night?
Never once felt afraid. I'd walk home at 4am alone from the LES and think I was invincible.

34. Ever witnessed a drug deal?
Nope

35. Is the cost of living kicking your ass?
It wasn't when I was there - I lived in a small studio apartment my father owned. But now when I see how much he's renting it out for, i'm sure it would be!

36. West Side Highway or FDR Drive?
When I lived in Westchester the only way I knew how to get to manhattan was by the West Side Highway. Once I got used to my way around the east side, its totally FDR all the way.

37. If someone offered you $500,000 to move out of NYC forever would you take it?
I might take it to move back! :)
