Marianne Williamson said, “Our greatest fear is not that we are inadequate…but that we are powerful beyond measure.” It’s certainly not what many of us were taught as children; we’re all too familiar with the term we’re only human, which somehow carries the connotation that we are unworthy and incapable of doing anything right and therefore susceptible to the whims of a God who might—or might not—give a lowly creature riddled with all sorts of imperfections and limitations a smooth passage to paradise.
